Mini Interior Detail | The Process
Cleaning The Mats:
First, we take out the mats and clean them. If they are rubber mats, we rinse them down with our pressure washer and spray an All-Purpose Cleaner. We then scrub the all-purpose cleaner using a drill brush. After we have agitated we rinse the cleaner off the mat and hang them up to dry. If they are carpet mats, we will blow them out with an air compressor and vacuum them.
The Blow Out:
Next, we blow out the car from front to back using an air tool called a tornador that loosens up the dirt and makes the vacuuming step easier. We blow the dirt out or into one place for an efficient vacuum pick-up.
Vacuum:
We vacuum all the carpets, floor mats, and seats using a high-powered professional shop vac.
Cleaning Plastic And Glass:
To clean the plastics we use an all-purpose cleaner and microfiber towels to wipe them down to rid of any dirt or dust. For the glass, we use a glass cleaner and a waffle-weave towel to wipe them down.
Doorjambs:
Depending on how dirty the doorjamb are we clean them accordingly. If they are not super dirty we will use an all-purpose cleaner and wipe them down. If it is more dirty we will rinse it down with the pressure washer and use a brush to agitate the chemical and get off stubborn dirt.
What Affects The Price For The Mini-Interior Detail:
As told in this blog there are three factors to the price of your detail. Size, condition, and the package that is chosen. In this section, we will only focus on the condition. This is because a price range is given on all of our packages according to the size of the vehicle. The factor that decides if you are on the higher or lower side of that price range is the condition. If your car is a bit more dirty and has things such as pet hair, and more dirt, we will charge more due to the extra time it will take us to clean up.
