Interior Shampoo and Reset Detail | Our Detailing Process And Prices
The Interior Shampoo And Reset Detail is loved by all of our customers that try it. This package does an amazing job of removing things like stains and killing bacteria. The process we go through to complete this package is listed below. As well as what influences the price!
Interior Shampoo And Reset Detail | The Process
Cleaning the Floormats:
We always start with cleaning the floormats in the vehicle. This is because they are usually one of the most dirty parts of the interior, and they get a bit wet when we clean them so we like to hang them up to dry. For rubber floormats, we rinse them with our pressure washer and spray an all-purpose cleaner on them. Then we use a drill brush to agitate (scrub) all the cracks and crevices. Then we rinse them off and hang them up to dry. For carpeted floormats please see the section below.
The Blow Out:
After the mats are removed we use an air tool called a Tornador to loosen up the dirt in the carpets, seats, and plastic. This makes all of the following steps easier.
Cleaning The Carpets:
To Clean the carpeted or upholstered areas of the car, we start with a thorough vacuum to remove all surface-level dirt and debris. If there is pet hair we will remove that during the vacuuming step with a pet hair tool. Then we will spray our carpet cleaner and enzyme cleaner and agitate with a drill brush. After agitation, we steam clean the surface to kill all bacteria and restore the fiber’s softness. The final step is to extract all the liquid and dirt along with it.
Cleaning The Plastics:
For cleaning plastics, many detailers settle for a basic wiping down and they call it good. But we believe if you pay for a premium package, you should GET premium service. Instead of wiping them down, we use a variety of brushes and pads to scrub in every nook and cranny. After the plastic is clean we apply a UV protectant and dressing making the plastic darker and have more gloss. For cleaning leather seats we use the same cleaning process but apply a leather conditioner at the end.
Cleaning The Glass:
To clean the glass streak-free, we use an ammonia-free cleaner to prevent water spotting on hotter days. We use a waffle-weave towel to make sure there are no little hairs left behind.
What Affects Pricing For This Package?
As mentioned in this blog there are three factors to the price of your detail. Size, condition, and package chosen. In this section, we will only focus on the condition. This is because a price range is given on all of our packages according to the size of the vehicle. The factor that decides if you are on the higher or lower side of that range is the condition. If your car is a bit dirtier and has things such as pet hair, stains, odors, etc, we will charge on the higher side of the price range due to the extra time it will take us to clean up.
